Experience with BBa_K587012
Based on the iRNA concept, we designed iTa-st as an RNA sequence to prevent the hybridization of the Ta-st with Crx-st preventing the loop to unfold, in spite of the presence of the key Ta-st, so the downstream genes cannot be expressed. Transformed bacteria with this part grew in selective media showing a successful transformation, but no further tests have been performed up to the moment.
